PC, I think the disparity in price is that Ciena may have left material facts off the table during the takeover discussions, such as the end of growing eps at the firm -g-, and TLAB may still be able to wriggle out of the deal. You don't go one for one until the fat lady screeches.

The option prices you noted make no sense whatsoever unless they are split prices. In which case they still make no sense. -g- I haven't looked at the TLAB series so I'll get back to you.
