I talked to Lawrie today, and I must say, he is sounding more upbeat than he was last week.
Things have progressed quite well since the opinion from Revenue Canada was received. Some investment money has been received, and there are some solid fundamentals in place that will propel this stock. He is talking to a lot of people, including brokers, who are ready to come on board. One must have entered the market yesterday with that 48,000 trade at .14 cents. There is still some hesitation out there though because there is no specific time commitment (and missed promises), but they are watching the stock closely.
I'm sure a number of people who read this forum are in the same position. They are not willing to tie up their money until it is ready to go. After all, if they buy at .25 cents and it goes to 50 or $1, that is still a good risk/reward bet, especially in this market. For myself, I have bought at .11 to .14 knowing it will go someday, and the gain from .14 to .25 is worth the wait. I also don't have to watch it too closely and be afraid of missing it. Remember when the last false start took it from .12 to .19 in one morning? When this really does move, there won't be anybody selling their shares knowing it is a false start. It'll just pop and stay there.
I suggest everyone take at least a small position now, and wait for the next sign. When it goes $2-$4 long term, who cares about the .14 now.
MKD is also working on raising the visibility of the stock. This has not happened previously because all the pieces weren't in place. Now they have the agreements in place for the equipment, they have some money raised, and they have received commitments from CD brokers in Western Canada to place orders. They have even received orders which are being filled by their friends in Los Angeles. One of the principles of CDI is currently in at the LA plant helping with the order, and is working on the shop floor plan for CDI!
These initial fundamentals are being covered by some newsletter writers starting next week. This will build support, and we should see the result in the share price next week.
I am getting very bullish again, can you tell?
