I still remember staying up late drinking in a little Bavarian village until they cleared everyone out. As we were staggering out onto the street, I heard a big "Wo!" and noticed that my friend had just about knocked over one of the locals who had unexpectedly stopped in front of him and started to pee in the middle of the street. We all laughed as the local explained that his way (in the middle of the street) was the proper way to pee: "It's those people who pee ON the houses that are the filthy pigs!!"

Many fond memories of Bavaria . . .
