Margin Mike:

Your arguments were good until... "[e]ven in your evil world...(sic)..." Where did I state that?

Question 1: Do you know anything about Patents/Intellectual Property?

Take a look at my profile. People patent the most worthless things. In my opinion, it is to prevent a competitor to do that. However, just because a method was patented one way, does not mean it can't be patented another. Remember, there was a patent on the automobile, but others patented different variations.

Prove to me this:

"..the cost and dificulty would be prohibitivly more expencive then buying IPR."

I am asking you to prove it to me. Show me proof!

Remember, many companies have refused to pay for licensing and have opted to go to the court system to invalidate patents. This method has been done by companies none other than QCOM.
