The Board of Directors of MC2 Learning Systems Inc. ("MC2") is please to announce the appointment of Mr. Donald A. Carlson as Chairman of the Board. Mr. Carlson has a strong background in business development, financial management and strategic alliances.
Mr. Carlson is currently Chairman and President of Carlson Development Corporation Ltd., a private investment holding company in Edmonton, Alberta. Mr. Carlson is a Director of various business boards, including BC Gas, Foremost Industries ltd., Princeton Developments Ltd. and Trans Mountain Pipe Line Company. Mr. Carlson was previously Chairman of Vencap Equities Alberta Ltd., one of Canada's largest venture capital companies.
Mr. Carlson has served as the 1989 President and the 1998 Vice President of the Washington, DC based World Presidents' Organization. He is a graduate of University of Alberta ("U of A") with a B.Sc. in Civil Engineering with post graduate studies at Massachusetts Institute of Technology ("MIT").
