Where does the likes of Janice Shell get her information? Remember when answering that she admitted to living in Italy...

"Admitted"?? Last I heard, living in Italy wasn't a crime. Millions, literally millions of people do it.

Where do I get my information? Mostly online. I do source it, you know. How do I find it? Well, hate to break it to you, but you don't have to be a rocket scientist, so to speak. Lurkers also contribute info, and I always specify this, unless they ask me not to do so. I don't post rumor or hearsay infomation without saying that's what it is, and don't do so normally unless I feel that really wild stuff is being posted on the thread.

By profession I'm a research scholar, which is why I enjoy doing this. My normal work takes me back five or six hundred years. Sometimes you can get a feel for the people involved, but there's rarely any hope of having more than a glimpse of the story, more than a "correct" contemporary view of the personalites. This is different. It is absolutely fascinating.

We've all lost money in stocks. I laugh when I read--as I have on SI threads--posts by people who claim they've been so smart it's NEVER happened to them. Pants on fire. But I do hope that those who "invested" in MTEI, and those who've contributed to this thread, will pause for a moment and think about how to avoid at least THIS error the next time. (Yeah, the market has many lessons, most of 'em expensive...every time you think...)

Way off the topic of the post to which I'm responding, but here's an idea: would you like to go back and really pull this one apart? See where the red flags were, and why you didn't pay attention? I'm not suggesting this to rub salt in raw wounds, but because I think it could be helpful for all of us. It's easy to lose objectivity when you're feeling enthusiastic, and even easier when you're supported by a group of encouraging friends. But this ain't REAL "DD".

Any more than "Calling the Company" is. PLEEEEAAASSSSS???? Grant me THIS at least? That Calling the Company isn't "doing DD"??

Enough, bedtime, more or less.
