<DEC didn't even have a production worthy 0.25 micron process !> Doesn't it bother you (together with Yousuf) that despite the "inferior" 0.35um lithography, DEC Alpha processors are running at 500 and 600MHz? Doesn't it tell you something? For example that you and Yousef have no idea how the gate technology and design strategy are related to a processor speed? BTW, how is your woodworking progressing? I am concerned because you are posting too much here.
