but as a graphic artist...I've totally converted over to a PC system. Hunh? I've been an art director for nearly 20 years. In New York, I don't know of a single place that will take a PC Quark or PhotoShop file without opening it a Macintosh, and re-saving as a Mac file for output. You may find the occasional Borg Cube in pre-press, but I assure you things are mostly Mac here. We got a couple of VIAO's (from a client who shall remain nameless) as a reward for a highly successful new product launch. The mouse control was so squirley that PhotoShop felt like you were wearing mittens -- gathering for output was a nightmare -- ColorSync just didn't work period -- and trying to configure them as servers was such a disasterous waste of time and money we nearly lost an account. We basically use them for nightlights now -- and as props when our "benefactors" show up for meetings. Feh! Ian Bruce New York, NY
