To 3 man: ABANDON SHIP, ABANDON SHIP!!!! Today told the tail of the tape ladies and gentlemen. FRIDAY was the day Dell HAD to rally and once again it dissapointed the legions of investors awaiting some sort of Pre-Earnings runup. No run-up prior to earnings is telling one and all that earnings will probably miss the all important WHISPER number. Michael Dell has also stated in the past that announcing splits is a NO, NO during very volatile market periods, aka NEXT WEEK. CPQ on the other hand rose about 1/2 point to finish near 35 cementing my prior posts. By the way UIS also had a pretty good day (Can you say DELL aquisition??? Anyway, look for more declines in the general market on Monday with Dell continuuing to suffer. Also remember that this thread should give many sides to the story on stocks. There are thousands of folks out there who NEED to hear more than just the PROs on individual issues. Bottom line is: LETS GIVE ALL THE FACTS and of course: LETS MAKE SOME $$$!!!!
