Ask him why and I'm sure he will tell you that it was pressure exerted by board members who know next to nothing about Macs. It is true that the trend is to go wintel and that, is a huge mistake. The intuitiveness, ease of use, stability of system, and reliability of unit, make it an ideal choice for schools. I am hoping that Apple can turn things around with the imac and stop the bleeding.
