Possible Alliances & Acquisitions

Mason,

What is your opinion of any alliance/acquisition between Immucor (BLUD), Gamma Biologicals (GBL) or Biopool International (BIPL)?

As of February 28, 1998 Immucor had $14.6 million in cash and equivalents. Appears to be enough to fund an acquisition or two. IMHO a three way merger would produce a formidable force to be reckoned with in the Health Care Medical Products & Supplies industry/sector.
