I think Cyrix may have a "strategy" already just not one that a lot of people recognize. It's simple and it's called grass-roots. Convince the people like myself (the programmers, consultants, etc.) that Cyrix is a good chip and they will recommend it to their customers (usually businesses).

Then when someone who works on Cryix all day long at work decided to buy a new pc they may just want a Cyrix chip becuase their machine at work runs on Cyrix and it's a good machine.

The important thing for Cyrix is not to let their chips get dragged down by poor systems that will only earn a bad reputation. That's the most important thing in my mind.

P.S. I would love to see someone serious advertising, but you have to remember to leave within your means.
