Dave, Vince may be over, but, IMHO, he is awful playing the heel, even if he is a heel. And he is over because he gets all the air time and butts in with the top draws. We never see him interfering with The Misfits. <G> Steve Austin is a great wrestler. I think it is sad that he became popular simply because he said "ass" a lot over a microphone. But then, The Larry Sanders Show on HBO lasted for a long time with nothing but saying the "F" word regularly as a creative direction. Sometimes I wonder if adults have matured since they were little kids saying "pooh-pooh" to each other and giggling. <G>
IMHO, blood running down the head couldn't have happened to a nicer guy than Belzer. His entire spiel was designed to embarass Hogan and wrestling. Too bad he didn't do it to Dr. D, David Shultz, who handled the wee problems of John Strossel (sp) of ABC and Mr. T, who was just a pain in the neck. Not that I believe that violence solves anything, but there is also no reason that somebody should have to take a lot of crap from a Belzer. BTW, he is one of the few bright spots on "Homocide," so I don't hate the guy otherwise.
I haven't figured out what the WWF plans with the casino or if they overpaid. Right now, hotel space is doing well, so you have to wonder how the heck Debbie ended up going broke. Maybe it was the all day playing of "Tammy" on the elevator Muzak machine. <G> One thing, we now know that she is, indeed, sinkable.
