BB said months ago, and I agree, that you won't see the Clinton situation lead to impeachment proceedings because the Republicans don't have their hearts in it. The last thing they want is to face Gore as an incumbent in the next election. If the Monica mess had happened in Clinton's first term, the Republicans would be clamoring to nail his sorry hide to the barn door. But as it is, they are content to simply embarrass and humiliate him, if such a thing is possible. A pure case of situational ethics.
