Hello Scott,
Now tell me which of those boxes you saw advertised or what major OEM's will use the SIGM cards, and then you'll have something to get excited about here?
We've got Phillips, Sony, Panasonic, Hi-Val, a good amount of second-tier OEMs, and maybe a few Gateway computers according to John Rieman (though I've seen some posts on C-Cube implying that we're out of Gateway). I'm excited. A 10-20% market share could do wonders on the top and bottom lines for this company for quarters 3 and 4.
Also, their Netstream 2 product seems to be rolling out quite nicely with Intel, Microsoft, and Cisco on board pushing our products.
I agree with you that CUBE is also a good play, but different. I'm a bit concerned about the current situation with the VCD standard in China, which I know little about. The leaders of markets generally get premiums on their P/E and P/S ratios, but I still think SIGM's current level is a better value than CUBE. That being said, I may jump back onto CUBE in the coming few months if I can come up with the cash.
