Paul, here's a good article for all those who keep claiming that Intel gave up socket7 just to lock out the competition. It's about GTL+, a major component of Socket8/Slot1/Slot2. Intel saw the future and designed this in long before others had a clue as to what the benifits would be. techweb.com EP
