So, I'll just rudely interrupt here and respond . . .
Yup, done just that and, after further study, concluded that the original story/history has been re-told so many times, in so many different languages, by so many people with their own unknown agendae, that whatever truth there was initially, has long since been lost.
Am not aware of existing original documents by any of the eyewitnesses of which you speak. Would be greatly impressed by such. Having a difficult time understanding why I have not heard of them before. Maybe the Vatican has them locked up? Surely they're not in Israel, hidden from the public in a pathetic attempt to perpetuate a superseded belief.
Would be eternally grateful for anyone who could point me toward such original documents.
Son of a fundamentalist, protestant, bible-banging holy roller, I've heard, read, studied, believed, dis-believed, ignored, and worried over that "historical document" nigh on 60 years.
Show me the evidence, uncontaminated by fanatics. Prove to me the church's main motivation is not it's own immortality and enrichment.
