Take a look at the housing market relative to the earth quake in 89 before you decide to buy a house in Silicone Valley. Jonny Carson humor! I beleive the recent run up in the higher end market is tied to the stock market in the last 2-3 years. I would never buy a house in california and I have been living here all my life. Rent and put you disposable income in the stock market. Retire in Arizona,Texas, Florida.
