Setting up an account with Australian broker is reasonably easy. Contact me by email on johnryan@netlink.com.au and I will take it from there for you with my own broking firm. Alternatively contact me at home on 613 9888 3723 or at work on 613 9629 5422. Just remember the time difference between US and Australia. The NYSE closes about 3 hours before I start work.

PS: I used the name Goanna because John Ryan is a very common name and already in use on Silicon Investor. A goanna is a large Australian lizard not to be confused with a gecko which is a small lizard and habitue of the film "Wall Street".
