I have not read this whole thread, so I hope I am not repeating anything. Firstly, I have read some of your posts elsewhere, XY Zebra, and I am aware of your objectivism. I too have read all Rand's literature more than once, although it has been a few years... I would enjoy contributing to this thread...but in small pieces; just don't have the time for an essay. Here is one observation: I think, perhaps, I could handle living for 1000 years; perhaps for one trillion years; perhaps for one trillion trillion years. But if I had to live for one trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion trillion years...with no way to get surcease--with no way out of it...well, I would have a problem with that! Eternity is far too long for me! Barry
