You can make a long list of stocks that move to the big board and fare poorly. Bay Networks and JLG Industries come to mind - so it doesn't guarantee success or even status quo. Edit: Just thought I would remind everyone of the halcyon days of not too long ago when the oilfield services/equip. group was ranked 1 by Value Line. Now it is ranked 49. FWIW.
