Cal, Cal, Cal! You rally haven't a clue what you are talking about! If you are successful in an obvious feable plea to protect your long position, then the VSE will become an investment wasteland!! What you have to realize is that the VSE and ASE are speculative markets by design and by nature. So what you are "really" saying is you wish the "right" to speculate the stock will go up, and at the sametime, curb the "right" of people from speculating the stock will go down!! I suggest if you want this added safety , go to safe stocks on the TSE! The reason you don't, of course, is you wish the windfall profits associated with speculation, and high risk!! With risk comes speculators, with speculators comes pessimist and optimists, with pessimists and optimists comes "long and short"!! With long and short comes winners and losers!! It reminds me of the song...take it like a man!!! If you are successful (which you won't be) it will be a huge blow to free enterprise and free markets!! the Chief
