> Achievement is indeed possible without Christianity. Indeed the whole world might be gained but to what end. Our capacity to love, to care, to nurture does this all end when we draw our last breath and our possessions are passed to another who may even be a fool to tend to what we have achieved?<

CM- Are your possessions and achievements so vital to your being that you are concerned for them even after your death? If this is so, then you are the possession and your things own you. Life is meant to be lived as it happens - not in grief over yesterday nor in fantasies of tomorrow.

> With my beginners mind, before coming to Christ and like Emile having been disillusioned with what had been offered, I still looked about me at all of nature and saw purpose not coincidence.<

CM- Some of us are able to cope with our mortality. We need no paternalistic/maternalist guiding purpose. Nature is accepted as nature.

> How do you have faith in life alone seeing as how following life, death is inevitable? <

CM- do you wish for immortality? For what purpose? Are you so important to yourself and to humanity that you should live forever? Ego, my friend, ego. To achieve enlightenment you must forego the ego.
Your master said the kingdom of god is within you. Find it there by looking inward. You may be surprised with the result.
