Jay, They do and they don't. ASYT started with the SMIF products and has expanded or is attempting to expand. Mihir Parikh is still trying to make a going concern out of the Asyst Automation division which was written off by ASYT about 2 years ago. PRIA started with Interbay automation and is moving down toward the cluster tools with Equipe. Both sell software to manage the flow of wafers through the fab preventing mis-processing. Reading their annual reports and / or 10Ks would probably help anyone who wants to understand what they actually do. Ian.
