goldsnow, When a Russian peasant was told there had been a revolution, the Tsar had been thrown out, and the country now belonged to the people, the peasant replied with the equivalent of "OK". Through the centuries the common Russian people have seen very little change in their lives and it mattered not who was in charge. My comment was not on Russia today because it is a mess. My response was to your interpretation of Russian history. Reread what you posted. -g- Ron
