What we can see clearly in the scripture is that they are official messengers, SENT by God to do certain jobs. They are also sent to "woo people to Jesus" Very interesting, and I can completely attest to that. And they love to interact and do things for us, and I believe it is the angels that arrange many of the answers to prayers. The pagans have turned this into the worship of familiar spirits in the bodies of fat little toddlers. And that mostly from Roman mythology if my brain serves me, and those representations mainly for the purpose of inspiring lust, as in the cute little "cupid". No time in life to retrace studies to see if every single statement in life is absolutely correct, but the paganism now going on, changing the the male only documented angels of God in the Bible with beautiful flying women and fat toddlers is of course something I hope no Christian in tune with the Holy Spirit of Jesus Christ goes near. My tirade I erased was on the inescapable fact that we are in a new 1500's at this point, with a total re-rebirth of ancient devil worship, and that centering on satan in drag--the Mother Goddess. The new mythology big money is promulgating daily on the cable channels--there is one devoted almost exclusively to the growing revival of the cult of Diana worship through the late Diana spencer, complete with temple and pilgrimages by the adoring pagans, is quaintly archaic and strange, but also is paralyzing when lined up with the approach of other dire and horrible things to come. So. Anyone have another good joke? :)
