Thanks. Many data points are better than one or two.

The Ridgeland store did sell out of Imacs on the first day but I couldn't learn how many Imacs they had to sell. They are asking customers to sign a list for a courtesy call when more come in.

Interesting to watch the action. Seems Imacs will appeal to first time buyers who do not have to worry about backward compatibility...as well as dedicated Mac fans.

I can't imagine anyone upgrading to an Imac as they can't use their monitor, printer, or copy files from a floppy. The ease of setup is undoubtedly a BIG plus for people who have an aversion to pc demands...or want to buy one for someone in the family who feels that way.
