Pall,

The situation on this good thread reminds me of the case where a yapping mutt keeps nipping at the heels of passers-by. They respond by kicking at it, but the more they kick, the more it yaps and nips. Eventually they realize that it's fruitless, and just ignore the mutt.
If the good folks on this thread just follow that same strategy, I'm sure we can get back to talking about our favorite stock.
