>>>On the other hand, exchanging cryptic personal messages in a public forum is another thing entirely

let me attempt to be of assistance

Cryptic message #1 "BigBubba from hicksville Ak "
is Pres Clinton, known to most people on this thread and subject to different opinions by same

Cryptic message #2 "I see that the BarnicleMike has been semi reinstated "
is Mike Barnicle, a writer for the Boston Globe and rather well know nationally; recently on wide ranging shows from Don Imas, Nightline, CNBC, and the butt of some Jay Leno jokes for the sorted mess he got himself into with the "PC" crowd for taking a few lines from "Brain Droppings" and putting a variation of same under his byline

Now, if you find these to be cryptic then a great many of the posts here might leave you feeling out of the loop

on topic

Your question about my present preference for 3 letter stocks
I have no real drive to go with 1-2-3-4-5 letter stocks but tend to lean to NYSE for position trades and NASDAQ for quick flips as I seem to have a better batting average getting quick 1/4's plus on the fast moves of NASDAQ stocks than the often slower pace of change on the Big Board

I have never subscribed to the wide spread theory about the NASDAQ mm's but do feel just a tad more comfortable with NYSE because I can use sell stops on them whilst I can not on the 4's and 5's

If one reads net posts long enough there seems to be a trend;
if the trade turns out to be a winner it was the brilliance of the person making the trade that resulted in green
if it ends up as a loss it was the evil gremlins in the mm community that caused the person to have made a bad trade

Final OT comment
I found your retort to Lisa to be totally uncalled for and tasteless; so I shall defer from posting to you in the future until an apology is offered to her; although I am quite sure that she does not need my slight attempt at chivalry nor do any the fine ladies who frequent this and other threads
