Wildcat,
It doesn't quite work like that. If you tried to buy 2 million shares at market, first the brokerage firm doesn't have 2 million shares, they would have to buy 2 million shares from share holders before they could fill your order. In order to buy 2 million shares they would probable drive the price to .50 cents or maybe to $ 1.00, no way to know how high, if to a dollar the average would be about .75 cents, for 2 million shares, that would cost 1.5 million dollars. and if someone tried to buy 2 million shares the price could go much higher, the institutions haven't sold and they probably wouldn't sell at one dollar if they thought the stock was coming back.
