"what right does a country have to fight for its survival?" If the us wanted to totally dominate the region they would have marched into Bagdad(sp) and set up their own puppet..I am assuming that most of the Iraqis can't wait for SH to get it..(I heard one former high ranking American..possibly Haig..that SH had a plane on the runway and he would have fled to Libya.. think it was extremely "funny" about another post suggesting that because of Monica Clinton didn't currently want confrontation with Iraq... think it is extremely funny how everybody is making such a big stink about Clinton's private affairs whereas in so many families relatives do incredibly vicious things to other relatives..how so many marriages are just fascades anyways for each person's selfish motives..(I do know a lot of happily married and loving couples!!!) the biggest joke is that everybody seems to be avoiding what is happening in China..so what if 224 million people are being affected by the floodingwhat is more important ..the dress of course.. even the Clinton mess is a joke..the republicans probably want more than the democrats for nothing to happen to Clinton..the democrats probably prefer clinton to go so at least Gore could entrench himself.. most women don't care because Clinton in his public life,he touches on issues that women care about..women are probably more supportive of him than men and want it to all go away...(they are probably much more angry at Monica and Linda for creating this brouhaha and bringing it public..) Peter Munk was probably really happy that gold has been tanking..he probably doesn't care about shareprice..he just knows he is making money by hedging and will probably be able to buy up more companies at dirt prices and be king of gold.. it is hysterical to think that Abby Joseph Cohen is intentionally trying to screw all of Goldman Sach's customers so partners in the company(I don't think she is a partner and could also possibly get royally screwed if she makes a bad call and loses the customers buckets of money to make a few partners wealthier) I do find it also weird since GS's research is so good why it is going public in October..the month that is the most dangerous..if their research thought we were entering a bear market..why didn't they go public in July,August or September? some good articles today in nytimes.com Neff etc(talking about commodities
