I read the TSE guidelines and felt generally that they are well-thought of guidelines which will serve both a company and its shareholders well. Most importantly, a company should post all news releases and other documents in a complete and accurate manner, and not select only positive postings to promote the stock.

Two things I would like to see changed on the TSE guidelines:

1) A company, through its designated IR person, should participate on chat groups. There is no difference fielding questions over the telephone, and fielding questions on chat groups. Actually, it will be more economical and effective to field questions on chat groups than over the phone.

2) Companies should not engage shills to promote the stock on chat groups unless they identify to posters that the persons are related to the company and have been authorized to promote the company.
