Chief - unfortunately there may be some incest between the brokerage houses unfairly shorting the market and the VSE itself, so its like a bunch of crooks trying to decide who should be the lessor crook.

As long as they feel it is their right to fleece the public, they will continue to do so, and perhaps threatened extinction is the only way someone may come to their senses.

Right now the VSE may have the distinction of being the worst performing exchange in the world and this is largely due to the permitted practices and the kind of companies they attract. Perhaps the situation is even worse in that they do not even realize the situation!!

Unless the price of gold comes back, VSE continues to go lower as more and more juniors just go bankrupt. In order for it to rise in this market, they would somehow have to get more companies of merit with earnings to list on their exchange, and this would take quite some convincing.
