Disk drive stocks a buy? SEG, RDRT, WDC, QNTM

I reviewed the named disk drive producers, and also the computer-parts sub-sector from Bollinger's Group Power stock groupings. Many (most) are in a column of X's and a good number of those are on DT buy signals or better. For short-term traders, an uptrend in these stocks may be underway, as demand has outstripped supply.

However, p&f has not issued an all-clear signal, and the sub-sector and most of the stocks are still in a bear-confirmed status or bull-alert status. Market risk is still considerable. Tom Dorsey likens traders in this market as those looking to pick up dimes in front of bulldozers. He also likes to play these opportunities with rather tight stops, just in case they prove to be longer-range opportunities. The choice is yours. All IMOO.

Of the above, I might play QNTM and SEG.

Beware and good luck.
Dennis
