Yes, I have read the letter. I think it is a good sign, but not enough in itself to calm my fears, so to speak. Management anywhere very seldom says that the future is bleak. I am going to look through the recent 10-Q filing to see if I can pick up anything. I don't have a password for the edgar-online link you posted, but it should be available at freeedgar.com also. I am positive about ETN but still trying to figure out what everyone else is thinking. I am curious about the acquisition possibility you mentioned in the opener to the thread. Is there anyone who would want to acquire Eaton and who would have the means to do so? And would Eaton welcome any such overtures? It seems like they are doing quite well as it is and already have the critical mass to grow on their own. Of course, I would not be surprised to see them making some acquisitions of their own.
