Fred, YOU HAVE NO CREDIBILITY AT ALL!
At 1:15PM EST, ( on Friday August 14 ) Fred says, " his MO looks like " crapola " on the charts now... so that's why he's so silent. A breach of 40 would not be so good, so Rare I hope you are watching ". At about 12:15PM EST ( on Friday August 14 ) there was a DOW JONES NEWS HEADLINE that stated that the " Circuit Court of Appeals Blocked all FDA regulations on the Tobacco Industry ". Did You bother to check the News before you opened your BIG MOUTH! Is this how you deal with your brokerage clients? Urging them to sell off before You KNOW the FACTS! Is the Brokerage You work for to cheap to get Dow Jones News? Or, are you just a negligent BROKER? Don't tell me that Reuters, Business Wire and AP posted this news after 1:15PM EST! I know when everything gets posted! I pay good money to have my MO monitored 24 hours a day 5 days a week! DOW JONES POSTED THIS NEWS LONG BEFORE YOU SHOT YOUR LOAD OFF! NOW I'll tell you a few facts about me that obviously you don't know about. I am a SUPER CAPITALIST PIG who looks to make a BUCK on my investments. And I have been doing it successfully 80% of the time over the last 16 Years. You know a little bit of my success from our conversations in the Clubhouse. I know all the risks and rewards in every one of my trades before I make the Trade! I know the whole story about MO, every single one of its lawsuits and its prospects for winning. I told you a long time ago MO was a steal in the mid 30's. I expected a winning verdict here, which is devastating to Clinton and the whole Federal Gov't. The third judge added to the case was a conservative Nixon appointee. I am aware that the Federal Gov't will most likely sue the tobacco industry for 1 trillion dollars in a Medicare class action lawsuit, with the expressed intention of preventing an agreement between the industry and the State Attorney Generals so they can force the industry back to the bargaining table for a comprehensive national settlement. Before You shoot your load off there when it happens and MO goes down 5%, let me tell you the case is bogus and will be thrown out of court like every other class action law suit has this summer. The Federal Governments class action case is actually the weakest of all of them. The State AG's and the Tobacco Industry are fed up with the Federal Gov't! They are going to make a deal regardless! Ultimately, when this whole case hits the Supreme Court, do you really think Justices Scalia, Rehnquist, Thomas, Souter, O'Connor and Kennedy are not going to favor the tobacco industry over the Federal Gov't? Look at their record. I doubt they would even waste their time hearing the case if BT had the edge going in! I have pounded the table over the last 6 to 9 months over the Asian Effect on the Economy here in the USA. Only the high tech wins matter to you and others on this thread. Don't get me wrong, Fred, any information that will bring me closer to the goal of making a Buck on my investment is greatly appreciated by me. The last win by Cube was great! It has prevented the stock from trading 2 to 3 points lower today. But don't expect a big rally here for quite a while. We are in the early stages of a Bear Market. The Stock Market can't even rally for more than a day ( A nice relief rally will come after Clinton testifies ). The market wants and needs to go down further. I see good support at Dow 7800 and S&P 980. From there we can get a good Bear Market or Suckers Rally to the 200 day moving average before we head South to about Dow 7000. After that it's a little fuzzy to me. I have to see how Asia is doing then. I expect Greenspan to take swift action to lower rates aggressively ( at that point ) and Rubin to take swift action with the Japanese to force them to initiate massive tax cuts. With a Nikkei below 13,000, they will be desperate enough to do so. I'm still looking at a 25% decline from the highs, with a new bull market beginning in December 98, if Republicans solidify their hold in Congress. I hope for your sake, as a Broker, that the Bear doesn't get out of hand. But Think before you talk, Fred. If I told you once, if I told you twice, I'll tell you time and time again, in a Bear Market, if you decide to go long, you have to go with a company that has supreme management, the best lawyers money can buy, the best public relations and marketing outfit known to mankind, a company that can throw SMOKE BOMBS at the BEAR ( the BEAR mangles everything that is digital ) and rise, a company that you can count on for steady earnings growth - YOU got to go with a Winner here, You got to go with BIG MO! LOL! |
