To VLAD from riskman2000 Aug 17 1998 12:36AM EDT
I know VLAD does not visit this board,so I would appreiciate it if you could pass this on.He asked about sales in Switzerland today on the SI thread,I posted this on Friday, here it is again.I talked to Astra in Sweden, and Switzerlands launch of Muse just started this week.Sweden, even though approved in April has only started sales last week, because of time involved waiting for Vivus to produce enough product etc.In UK Muse has 53% of ED market.I dont know why Switzerland and Sweden are approved ahead of the other EU countries, but I am trying to find out. Also on another note the Chicago Sun Times Aug. 16 Sunday edition had a substantial article on Viagra. They showed new and refill scripts info, interviewed a few men,one no success, one moderate success etc.It said how the 60-70% success is more like 50-60% success rate, and that failures are going back to previous more invasive methods, mentioning Caverjet. It also went in depth and really focused on the safety issue, discussing nitrates, heart problems and the 77 deaths associated with Viagra, including 3 wrongful death suits. It concluded that the honeymoon is over as far as the hope of miracle status and that many men for various reasons will have to use other options but that it represents an advancement in treatment for ED.Look it up its worth reading. Thanks in advance |
