Rand, one thing is clear, Maxam needs money to accomplish the tasks necessary to claim the dirt and bring it into production to extract precious metals at a profit. The source of money is thru selling of stock in the company to investors for speculation purposes. Now most likely 99 out of 100 Maxam shareholders do not know and do not care about the fundamentals of the mining industry. That one out of a hundred that do have this experience or insight most likely will become an SI member and post on the thread. So the 99 of 100 that hold stock, and the 99 of 100 interested in buying mxam for the first time, they both will read_only this thread. They want a simple read that will tell them how close or how soon their investment will be realized. And what do they get ? For those that brought in over 1.00 they have no choice but to wait, unless they are willing to get like low pennies on the dollar. For those looking for reasons to invest now, today, tomorrow or next week ? I don't see any posts lately that would entice one to this stock because those posting do not seem to know what has or will happen. Many do seems to say that they do, but others that also know contradict it. If new money is needed by Maxam Company thru new investors, and the shareholders on this thread want to help the share value, maby if everyone posting could view their post from the viewpoint of the 99 of 100 that don't care about the technology, but only the straight forward stuff all other companies seem to do as a matter of fact, which is before anything is done, to outline objectives, the steps needed, milestones, etc. This way the Maxam Company does not have to give out news releases based on the shareholders complaining on a chat web or thru phone calls asking for status. The Maxam Company can put this outline or plan or objectives on an official document on their official web page and update it when a date or value or activity changes. And if the document has no changes since last time looked, then hey you looked too soon or the company is behind schedule, and if so, then you know what type of question to ask. Maby the Maxam web page started out this way, but if investors don't reference the web page in their inquiries about Maxam, then the company puts no effort to keep it current. This way a post can give where the company is and show be and wants to be, and the 99 of 100 current and new can then decide yes or no, hold or sell, or buy for the first time. As it stands now, this thread does not hold a steady and uniform message. Richard, the Mr. Mom of this thread, has to temper any bad with a good. Just joking now = this thread now has a look only a mother(Richard) could love. Get the Maxam.com Web info on here, and if not ready for prime-time, then ask Maxam to do so. Then start posting with one eye looking to keep current shareholders upbeat thru good spinning of Maxam.com web info, and hopefully draw in some new investors and bring the stock price higher. Doug |
