I find it Amaziinnng that BankAmerica Robertson Stephens gushes aboutAmazongonenuts.com but mentions nothing about how much they spent to acquire a relative handful of registered users. They do mention Lycos' acquisitions and the relatively cheap price per registered user: Rob, There is a lot of amazing comments out there by the Amazongonenuts.com bulls. I pointed this out in a prior thread but beyond what you pointed out about the acquisitions, Benji only talks about an upside surprise to Amazongonenuts.com. It appears a downside is not possible yet there has been a downside for the last few quarters when compared to original expectations. We have projected losses now to at least the year 2003. What happened to a meager profit in the year 2000? Glenn
