Hi Bipin:
As far as I know ALL companies are in "comodity" business. Even Intel, only difference, they are a monopoly (but for how long, see the action in AMD recently). Every product comes down in price (yea! DRAM's slid faster, based on historical perspective). The one important consideration is how well did the management manage during the price decline and from the stock perspective has the company hit the bottom and is it on the UP cycle. I am sure MU is not at the top (I sell when I preceive that the company is at the top, nowhere to go but down). In fact Intel has become busy to TELL Wall Street they are growing and certainly not at the top.
To me all the statements coming out does indicate that MU has bottomed out and the stock appreciation will depend on the RATE of the UP trend.
Also NO company can talk about actual earnings (other than give indirect guidance) before PUBLICLY releasing earnings report.
