Pezz, you certainly are not as stubborn as some of your Dem brethren. But I think you are blocking the relevance of l'affair Lewinski. Clearly, the only reason Reno gave this to Starr was that he has established a "pattern" of obstruction of justice in his investigation of WH activities re Whitewater, campaign finance, FBI files, travelgate, etc. The "pattern" issue is very important in a legal sense. I think Starr may be able to prove it. In fact, I think Paula Jones' attorneys will prove a "pattern" of behavior that infringes on the civil rights of Clinton underlings as well, when that case gets going again. He's in for a rough ride the next 2 years - all of his own doing.
