Fundamental analysis has a limited application to speculative stocks in the sense that actual production and reserves have to be in place. All that is needed is the potential for such. To wit, many Internet stocks, Western Copper, Ultra Petroleum and a panoply of others.

Anvil got driven up to C$1.42 on speculation. The way the stock price has been behaving over the past few days and today the speculative aura has not been wrung out of Anvil due to delays and down resource market. Go Anvil!
