Muthusamy - Re: CTXS

Citrix Systems makes a product (Winframe?) that runs on Windows NT and allows external terminals or NCs to connect, via a LAN connection, to the NT server and run Windows applications on the server. Winframe squirts out the screen display back to the NC, so the NC appears to be running the Windows software locally - but it isn't.

This approach is quite a technical achievement and works. It does not fall into the strict NC Paradigm but allows Windows applications to be executed on a serever with lower cost machines on the client side.

I don't personally follow the company so I can't give you any more info about their prospects.
