Dialogic Corporation Announces "Siemens Ready" Verification of CT-Connect Server Software

WOBURN, MA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 17, 1998--Dialogic Corporation today announced that the CT-Connect(TM) Server Software has been verified as Siemens Ready(SM) with Siemens' Hicom(R) 300E version 9006.4 communications server.
The "Siemens Ready" designation ensures third-party products and applications can be operationally connected with Siemens Business Communication System's products.
The CT-Connect product is a call control server capable of connecting telephone switches to a variety of data processing environments. The application consists of server software that supports comprehensive call control and monitoring through links to many popular telephone switches. The server software implements the necessary communication protocols to work with each switch's computer telephone integration (CTI) links. It maps the differing protocols and messages to a common CSTA-based call and information model and manages the flow of telephony service requests and status messages between the server and multiple concurrent application systems.
CT-Connect supports applications using Microsoft TAPI and Novell TSAPI programming interfaces, as well as an extensive library of application software and development tools which support the Microsoft Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) and ActiveX control interfaces. The product was developed by the Dialogic Computer-Telephone Division based in Woburn, Massachusetts.
The Siemens Ready Program enables developers and customers to accelerate development of their CTI-based applications by providing technical and marketing support at all stages of the development process. Offering development tools, support and a testing environment for integration with TSAPI, TAPI, CSTA, CSA and other industry standards, the program has been completed by more than 40 third-party developers to date.
