So if I read you right I am shorting the call and covering my position
with the put. Where is the risk in this kind of a collar. As a novice to options what is the most common mistake made. It sounds to me like the share positions of the present Canadian Banks (the actual shares) can not play a roll, in terms of fulfilling any option contract I might make.

I would think the puts would be scarcer then the calls?

Where is a good site for delayed option quotes on Canadian Markets

Also I heard leaps were a possible tool for my personal situation. (Longer term investor)are these quoted anywhere, that is a preferred site by you guys and girls .

Thanks in Advance

David
