Nancy,
I'll reply to you, but this is for everyone ... just got back from meeting at cygs. I'll try to keep my opinions out of this. I was only a newsman, not a common-tater (ordinary spud.) Drove by and found Mail Boxes, Etc., just around corner from Dell's place. Parked out front and was met at door by Gibson and shown into his living room (well stocked with wall to wall desks and computers, fax machines, printers, etc - just like a well stocked office). Dell was very hospitable and looks somewhat different from the way he does on TV. Makes a great cup of coffee.
Started with discussion of Skillern. Dell says that he was never charged, indicted or tried for any offense inre his father. Said there was no plea bargaining of any nature. Did not make him a saint, but this probably explains why I have been unable to find anything about him in Harris and Travis County Records. Said that Skillern had a couple of small businesses during the 1991 - 1995 period.
I asked about any litigation pending or lawsuits filed or contemplated. He referred me to Malcom Skolnick, company legal beagle and I will follow up on that when I get a chance.
Was aware of the battlefield this thread had become. I asked how badly this was hurting cygs. Dell says that cygs has no debt, and this has not hurt company. Appears that only people hurt are we the stockholders, and then only those who have been involved in trading. Those of us who were long and have remained so still have our growth. He said they chose Mailboxes, Etc. because it is very close and that they cannot receive FedEx, Airborne, etc at the USPO. Also, I dialed MBE and the lady answered, "Mailboxes, etc ..." not cygs.
Said they had never been contacted by SEC concerning any complaints ... offered me the SEC number and asked me to ask if anyone had filed a complaint.
Dell and Lawrence pointed out that the new web-page has a BBS so investors can make direct inquiries to company.
I'll continue this in a second post with my talks with Mealey and Conrad.
