JC, have you called General Magic customer support on this and
given your feedback? Some users might want Portico available
during their conversation? Others would like to save some money
and not use Portico during their conversations?

Maybe they can implement something like three options if they
haven't already (just brainstorming here):

-- call using Portico with Portico available during
the call (double billed)

-- call using Portico, disconnecting Portico when connection
is made (no double bill here)

-- call using Portico, disconnecting Portico when connection
is made, reconnecting to Portico after call is terminated
(no double bill here)

Feedback to General Magic is how the service will improve and
work better for you in the future.
