>>You expect the market to go down on the day Clinton testifies? <<

Personally, I didn't expect the market to react much about
Clinton. I don't think the market cares that much, but
I find it strange that Naz and DOW are up. DELL may give
market a lift, but it along I don't think would be enough.

As Moons said though, breadth is still horrible (hadn't
really checked that)

But, I think it would be hard to tell which way the
market would go (re Clinton) because
nobody knows for sure what he's going to say (at least until
maybe this morning) and also, nobody knows for sure how
the country will react.

>>If people wanted to get out of stocks because of Clinton they did it in the last two weeks. They wouldn't wait until today. Hence the sellers are gone. (At least temporarily)<<

If Clinton is a factor (I doubt it), maybe they're coming
back because he's a) decided to tell the truth, or b) because
somebody has an ear in the room and can tell how the questioning
is going. Maybe market reflects that questioning is going OK.
I won't be surprised though if Starr throws a curve ball.
