Roader, Acquisitions are the way to grow profits in a flat to down price market. Currently most energy and oilfield service companies are in very good financial shape- that is very different from the 1986-87 time period. So expect more acquisition activity... In fact on the producer side, I heard rumors today of a Conoco buyout by Elf Aquitaine...... And that's partly why I bought into EVI on friday... Sincerely, Doug F.
