Jerry, Jerry, Jerry! My prayer is that God will open your eyes to His true nature. God bless .

God is love. Think of it as a metaphor that describes part of His nature.

>>>In fact, should history repeat itself, I would expect the verdict would be the same not only for Jesus but for all who agree with him.<<<<<<

I can see why God took His kingdom away from the Jewish nation. Your attitude/spirit toward people that God loves is disgusting. God is a loving God, like a tender father He loves His children. Jesus told the Jews they would loose the kingdom, and they have. The
kingdom was(is) given to the Christians.

Mat 21:42 -26, "Jesus said to them, "Have you never read in the scriptures: 'The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; this was the Lord's doing, and it is amazing in our eyes'? Therefore I tell you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people that produces the fruits of the kingdom.
The one who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; and it will crush anyone on whom it falls." When the chief priests and the Pharisees heard his parables, they realized that he was
speaking about them.

Mat 23:37- 24:2, "Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! How often have I desired to gather your children together as a hen gathers her brood under her wings, and you were not willing! See, your house is left to you, desolate. For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, 'Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord.'" As Jesus came out of the temple and was going away, his disciples came to point out to him the buildings of the temple. Then he asked them, "You see all these(stones), do you not? Truly I tell you, not one
stone will be left here upon another; all will be thrown down." (speaking of the temple, not the wall). My para.

Jesus loves you, He died for your sins.

David
